Kids like daycare. It’s fun and bright and there’s so much crap to do that even the ever wandering mind of a three-year-old will never run out of new things to experience. But what happens to that place at night? Toy Story 3 showed us that it’s a ruthless prison run by the toys too scared to play with the babies and too bitter to live a real toy’s life. Way less cool than the toddler heaven it usually is.
Today Pixar revealed this early concept art which turns day CARE into a night MARE. See what I did there? There’s not a whole lot here that we didn’t all experience for ourselves when the film was released, but it’s still neat to see early renderings from the incredibly long animation process.
