Trailer For Exporting Raymond Tries To Bring American Comedy To Russia
For nearly a decade Everybody Loves Raymond was one of the most successful shows on American television. Audiences couldn't get enough of the Barone family, from the baritone Robert to the wacky Frank and Marie. But while everyone in the world might understand humor, we don't all laugh at the same things. So when Everybody Loves Raymond-creator Philip Rosenthal tried to bring the show to Russia, it wasn't exactly easy.
Hulu has premiered the first trailer for Exporting Raymond, a documentary about Rosenthal's attempt to create Voroniny, a Russian-language version of Everybody Loves Raymond. From the building he's forced to work in to the director that plays enema bags as an instrument, it all seems quite hysterical and only made better by the fact that it's all real.
