We’ve gotten our hands on the first trailer for Billy Bob Thronton’s next movie, a film called The Informers. This is one of his dark little indie flicks, one of the interesting things he does in between throwaway parts in blockbusters like Eagle Eye. It’s been too long since he’s done one of these really, after a string of high profile bombs like Bad News Bears, The Astronaut Farmer, and Mr. Woodcock he’s more than due for something good.
This may be it. He leads a star-studded cast which includes the likes of Winona Ryder, Kim Basinger, and Amber Heard in the story of a corrupt 1983 Los Angeles where morally challenged characters collide in drugs, murder, and excess. This particular trailer is really long, too long maybe, but interesting nonetheless. Watch it below:
