New Trailer For Legend Of The Fist
For those of you who like big wire-fu action sequences, thin story lines and explosions, you’re in the right place. Legendary Chinese director Wai-Keung Lau, or Andy Lau as he’s lovingly known in the States, is back with Legend of the Fist, a high-flying revenge flick brimming with all the action fans of this type of film have come to know and love.
Lau is the director behind the classic Infernal Affairs, which you may better recognize as the basis for Martin Scorsese’s The Departed, so we at least know his storytelling skills are up to par, the only question is whether or not this film is for you. If you weren’t a fan of over the over-the-top Chinese style in films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon then maybe steer clear of this one.
This new trailer looks like three movies rolled into one--a sprawling World War I epic, a mobster movie, and a fight fest. It doesn’t appeal to me, but scope it out for yourself below or in glorious HD over at Apple.
