Trailer For Stardust, Sort Of
The first trailer for the movie adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Stardust is here… sort of. It’s not so much a trailer as it is a scene and then a bunch of clips from the film set to the music from Pirates of the Caribbean. Bad choice on the music guys. I understand the need to use a temporary soundtrack with your trailer when you’re still in the middle of working on the score, but they could have picked something less recognizable. Using this make the film seem like a Pirates knockoff. It doesn’t help that they’ve picked video clips of the film’s main character swashbuckling on a ship.
Still, this makes the movie look a lot better than that still we got of Michelle Pfeiffer and her goat powered chariot. Any trailer that has Ricky Gervais in a cowboy hat can’t be all bad.
