I’m a big fan of Stephen Chow’s Kung-Fu Hustle. Not only is the movie absolutely crazy with zany antics, but it also is deep on a philosophical level. Deep, but not overbearing. I like it.
It looks like Chow may be continuing that trend, this time with a science-fiction themed flick titled CJ7. The trailer has leaked online and, while it doesn’t look as over the top as Kung-Fu Hustle, it has a lot of potential. Chow stars in his own picture again and looks like he starts the movie down on his luck again. That makes me a little worried that the picture may be too much of a copy of Hustle, but I’ll still give it a shot.
