New Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 Trailer Has Bella Taking A Leap
Last week, a new sneak peek at the upcoming final installment in The Twilight Saga was revealed at the MTV Video Music Awards, showing us the Cullens, the Volturi, the wolves and other vampires looking ready for a fight. The latest theatrical trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2 runs for about a minute longer and adds a few more intense moments from the film.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will conclude the feature adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's popular vampire series. As we noted last week after seeing the new sneak peek aired during the VMA's, it looks like there's a bit more action in the second half of Breaking Dawn than there was in the book. Then again, that could just be clever trailer editing, however this latest trailer has a similar tone. It seems to be an extended version of the one that released last week, running for just under two and a half minutes and including a few new snippets of the movie.
It starts off the way the VMA's sneak peek begins, but early one, we start to see new footage, including Bella jumping off the cliff (while Edward watches on approvingly) and later, some of the new vampires showing off their special abilities, and what appears to be a flashback scene (the woman struggling after Carlisle talks about "the severest form of punishment" for making an immortal child). And then, like the shorter version, it all builds up to the impending face-off with the Volturi. Will there be a battle among vampires (and a few werewolves)? We'll have to wait until November to see, but since we know that the ending has been altered from the book, it's possible that a real battle will take place as the Cullens and their friends go up against the Volturi.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 arrives in theaters November 16. More information, photos and videos can be found in our Blend Film Database.
