Undercover Brother Snorts Nose Candy
I re-watched a little Undercover Brother yesterday. Alright, it’s not as funny as I remembered. Still, I say Eddie Griffin might have something. If not comedic chops, then perhaps the ability to shove copious amounts of blow up his distinguished nose.
Moviehole says he’s signed up to co-star with Anthony Anderson in a new comedy called Nose Candy. As the title suggests, it’s about blow. Anderson and Griffin play two idiots who stumble across a buddies stash. One of them gets so high that he calls the cops, forcing them to engage in hilarious antics in order to escape jail.
It’s written and directed by Joseph Neibich whose only previous writer/director credit is on an as of yet unreleased Ocean Property. You’ll probably never see it in theaters, but you might see Nose Candy.
UPDATE! Earlier today we heard from Ann Flagella, president of Eddie Griffin's production company Front Of The Bus, Inc. According to Ann, there's no truth to the above report from Moviehole and Eddie is not involved in Nose Candy.
UPDATE 2! Apparently all of Moviehole's information was entirely incorrect. We've been informed by sources involved in the production that neither Eddie Griffin nor Anthony Anderson is attached to the film.
