I remember IGN Filmforce as a pretty cool place, even though I am probably the only person on the planet who still longs for the days of IGN Movies. I say I remember it as a pretty cool place, because a couple of years ago the guys controlling the pipe that brings the internet into my cubicle decided, hey, it might be a good idea if we blocked every site that comes from IGN! Since that god forsaken cube is where I do all my surfing, well it has been a long time since I’ve looked over to the good folks at IGN.
But right now it is Sunday, the weekend, which means I’m at home and cubicle free. It also means I was feeling nostalgic and trundled over to IGN… and am I glad I did. They’re the guys hosting the trailer for what looks like it may be the most amazing thing Jet Li has ever done, which considering his resume, may or may not mean much, depending on where you stand. The movie is called Unleashed, and it's more than just a dumb martial arts movie. It may even require some acting, which after Hero is probably something Jet Li might want to explore doing more of.
Well he is, and he’s doing it opposite an Ashley Juddless Morgan Freeman, that guy who is really good when he’s playing god. Martial arts come into play, and Jet Li ends up fighting Super Mario, but the Luc Besson written movie looks absolutely fantastic and has just rocketed up towards the top of my movies to watch out for in 2005 list.
