Victoria Justice Receives Some Terrible News In Fun Size Clip
Fun Size feels like it was made with Halloween in mind. The lighthearted teen comedy finds socially awkward Wren (Victoria Justice) looking forward to attending her neighborhood’s biggest and best Halloween costume party … only to learn that she has been saddled with her younger brother, Albert (Jackson Nicoll) … a real albatross.
Paramount Pictures wisely will have Fun Size in theaters in time for the Halloween weekend, and we have a sneak peek at a new scene, thanks to Yahoo Movies:
Clearly, Fun Size is a teen-targeted vehicle for Justice, who has been a force to be reckoned with on Nickelodeon for years. She has carried such programs as Zoey 101 and Victorious. Like most starlets her age, she masquerades as a pop singer, and is trying to transition to big-screen success.
The reason we have hopes for Fun Size beyond Justice is that she co-stars with Chelsea Handler in the film (the foul-mouthed talk-show host and comedienne plays Wren’s mom), and the cast includes supporting comics like Ana Gasteyer, Josh Pence and Johnny Knoxville. Yes, the Johnny Knoxville. At the very least, a few scenes from Fun Size might end up being unpredictable, and that’s what we’re hoping to get out of this teenage comedy.
Fun Size will open in theaters on Oct. 26. Josh Schwartz (Gossip Girl, Chuck) directs from a screenplay by Max Werner (The Colbert Report).
