I Love You, Man opens the SXSW film festival this year, and I’m making it a point to skip the stuffy press screenings this week in favor of seeing it for the first time in its proper setting: amidst a crowd full of movie-lovin stoners packed into Austin’s Paramount theater. Paul Rudd should be in attendance and if you’re there too, expect to see him at some point out in front of the theater chain smoking and bullshitting with fans. He’s a friendly dude. Two years ago when he came to SXSW with Knocked Up I nearly bowled him over on the way to the restroom, and there was barely a street corner anywhere in town with out Paul Rudd standing on it having a puff. The guy seemed to be everywhere.
