Vin Diesel Shares Rainy Riddick Photo With His Fans

Vin Diesel’s Facebook page continues to be one of the best places for updates on the action star’s upcoming projects. And really, isn’t that the best use of a major star’s social media pages? You’d rather see first-look images from Riddick or Fast Six over updates on what Diesel had to eat this morning, right?

With no additional information, Diesel posted this picture on his Facebook page. It shows futuristic anti-hero Riddick contemplating … er, something while sitting in a futuristic motorcycle in the rain. Feelings. Diesel has them. And you can see that here:

More than likely, Diesel has finished filming on the latest Riddick movie, which once again teams him up with director David Twohy for what the dup promises will be a stripped-down, bare-bones return to form for the character that was introduced in Pitch Black (and then blown up to ridiculous proportions in The Chronicles of Riddick). As the story picks up, Riddick (Diesel) has been left for dead on a lifeless planet. But when he triggers a homing beacon on the planet’s surface, two groups of men hunting Riddick arrive, then race to detain their “prize” before an intergalactic storm kills everyone involved.

Diesel is hitting his franchise stride at the moment, coming off of his massively successful Fast Five before filming this new Riddick and the sixth Fast and the Furious film. Fans absolutely need to keep it locked to Diesel’s Facebook page, as he often surprises followers with exclusive looks at his films. Riddick will be in theaters on Sept. 6.
