Watch A 247 F Blu-ray Clip Before The Film Heats Up In October
The extremely hot and claustrophobic thriller, 247°F is finally getting a Blu-ray and DVD release. The horror flick, which follows a group of kids stuck in a sauna during what is supposed to be a 'fun' vacation, had an initial theatrical release in Georgia (the country, not the state) in the fall of 2011, and will finally be available in homes on October 23. To celebrate, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has an extremely sweaty clip from the film to share with fans.
In the “What are We Going to Do?” clip, Jenna (Scout Taylor-Compton) and her two friends, Ian and Renee (Travis Van Winkle, Christina Ulloa) have already been trapped inside the sauna with no way out. The three are already covered in sweat, and as the temperature continues to rise, panic begins setting in. The three are completely dry on ideas and the temperature is still picking up steam.
The set won’t be bursting at the seams with bonus features, but if you aren’t buying the flick to watch two half-naked girls and a dude use less-than-brilliant deductive skills to attempt to get out of a bad situation, I’m not sure why you would purchase. Anchor Bay’s set will come with audio commentary from writer, producer, and director Levan Bakhia, as well as a few deleted scenes, but it's brilliance in its dialogue, which features such gems as "We're gonna die!?"
