Watch Brad Pitt Rescue A Young Fan From Near-Tragedy On His Latest Film Set
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has a long history of portraying various types of heroes. From gun-toting badasses to more withdrawn, pensive leads, he’s pretty much done it all. However, we didn’t realize until now that the man has a genuinely heroic side in real life. The iconic actor recently went out of his way to save a little girl on the set of his upcoming film, Allied, in the Canary Islands. Check out the video below to see for yourself.
As you can see from the video, an incredibly enthusiastic crowd gathered at a fence in the Canary Islands to get a glimpse of Mr. Pitt while filming his WWII drama, Allied. He comes out and begins greeting people from the other side of the fence, which only riles the crowd up further. At a certain point, things get a bit out off hand as a little girl gets pressed against the fence by an increasing number of people. Once this happens, Pitt seems to realize that she’s in pain and swoops into action with a few other members of the production to pull the girl over the fence and alleviate the mounting pressure on her body.
Once the girl is safely on the other side of the fence, it’s abundantly clear that the effortlessly badass Brad Pitt made the right call. He rubs her shoulder as she cries from the scary ordeal that has just occurred, and then he gives one more wave to the crowd and walks off as people on set take a look at her.
As impressed as we are with Brad Pitt’s quick thinking, we’re equally annoyed with the behavior of the crowd that caused this ordeal to occur in the first place. The people who amassed near the fence seem so excited about the prospect of seeing a major Hollywood actor that they maintain little regard the safety or comfort of those around them. If Mr. Angelina Jolie and the folks on the other side of the fence had not swooped into action when they did, then there exists a very real possibility that this story would have had a much more tragic ending.
