What Jamie Dornan Did To Sexually Prepare For Fifty Shades Of Grey
Playing a pirate on screen? You might take sword-fighting lessons to improve your accuracy. Supposed to play an athlete? You likely are going to hit the gym with a physical trainer before shooting. But what do you do if you are preparing to play pop culture’s most popular dom in Fifty Shades of Grey? The answer probably won’t surprise you.
Jamie Dornan opened up about his preparation process for Fifty Shades of Grey to Elle UK, and explained that one important thing he managed to do while developing the role of Christian Grey was to visit a sex dungeon. Which trailer, you might ask? This sultry reel:
How do you think audiences are going to react when they learn that Jamie Dornan went to such graphic lengths to bring sexual authenticity to his role in Fifty Shades? I’m guessing this is going to be a HUGE date movie on February 13, and the counterprogramming of Kingsman: The Secret Service won’t make much of a dent. We shall see!
