What Reveal Is Suicide Squad Promising Tomorrow?

In the comic book movie world, there are fewer productions currently gaining more steam than David Ayer's Suicide Squad. The movie announced most of its stacked ensemble in early December, and filming is set to begin in the coming weeks. Before filming begins, however, the director has a surprise in store for us.

The Fury director has been very active on Twitter through the pre-production process on Suicide Squad, and this afternoon he used the social media platform to announce that something big is on the way very soon:

As you can tell, this is a pretty damn vague Tweet. While it's clearly Suicide Squad related, there's no real hint at what's in store. Even the timeframe isn't very detailed, as the reveal could be coming tomorrow afternoon, or at 12:01 tonight. But that's not going to stop us from guessing what it is!

If I had to put money down, my bet would be that tomorrow is when we will get our first look at the core members of the Suicide Squad in costume. While filming hasn't begun just yet, it's not hard to believe that the actors - including Will Smith (as Deadshot), Margot Robbie (as Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (as The Joker), Jai Courtney (as Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (as Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (as Rick Flag) and Viola Davis (as Amanda Waller)- have at least done costume tests. And while we may not get photos of the actors in costume, it could also be that we will get official concept art.

If that isn't the answer, though, I have an alternative guess, and it revolves around Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. We know the actor is set to play the character in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but he is also rumored to be a part of Suicide Squad as well. Perhaps there will be some sort of coordination between David Ayer and Snyder that will see the latter reveal our first look at the character on his Twitter feed (a la what he did with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman), while the former confirms that he has a part in his movie. This may be a long shot, but that's the fun in speculation.

Focus, which features Suicide Squad stars Will Smith and Margot Robbie, just came out this past weekend and won the box office, so it wouldn't be too surprising if this big "something" is somehow connected. We'll just have to wait and see what it is, and you can be sure that we will have coverage of the news/reveal tomorrow as soon as it goes up.
