Those of you who complain about how online movie sites just write mean things about movies because we could never make one ourselves, take note-- one of our own is going to the big time. IESB.net webmaster Robert Sanchez is part of a team of producers behind an adaptation of the graphic novel I, Frankenstein, which is now going forward with Lakeshore Entertainment, the people who brought you Underworld.

Sanchez is executive producing alongside Kevin Grevioux, the Underworld co-creator who wrote the I, Frankenstein comic book, which finds the classic monster as a private eye and Dracula as the king of a crime syndicate. According to THR the project is aiming to get started in July with Underworld: Rise of the Lycans director Patrick Tatopoulos directing. Congratulations to all for getting the movie going after starting development last April, and particularly to Robert, proving that writing about movies can get you somewhere in this business after all. Take that, haters.
