The Rock Looks Like He Just Flipped A Car With His Bare Hands In New Fast 8 Photo
If there's one actor who is a pretty undeniable badass, its none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The professional wrestler turned Hollywood royalty has a penchant for playing guys who will seriously mess you up. Of course, it helps that he stands at 6'5 and over 250 lbs, so it's not like he's about to play an accountant anytime soon. The Rock has a pretty impressive slate of TV and film projects coming to audiences soon, but perhaps the most anticipated is the latest Fast and Furious franchise, Fast 8. Johnson just revealed a new image from the movie, where his badassery is exacerbated and awesome. Check it out below.
So I guess Hobbs has superpowers now? There's a car being flipped, he doesn't seem too concerned, and I'm going to just pretend that he did the car flipping with his bare hands. Maybe I've seen too many entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
All kidding aside, the above image, which was posted on The Rock's personal Instagram page, is sure to excite Fast and the Furious fans, and have them eagerly waiting the next entry into the successful franchise. From the images and footage we've been privy to thus far, Fast 8 may be the most action packed entry yet, which is really saying something. The movie has already made history by being the first American movie to ever film in Cuba. Additionally, there are sure to be tons of stunts and explosions, including a scene where tons of cars fall out of a parking garage and explode on the street below. Seriously, things are getting nuts.
Fast 8 also boats an impressive cast. While the team behind the franchise continues to mourn and honor the late Paul Walker, they've added some serious A-listers into the family. Not only will Charlize Theron be playing the leading mysterious villain named Cipher, but an even more fancy actress has also recently joined the ranks. Oscar, Tony, and Emmy winner Dame Helen Mirren also somehow joined the cast, in addition to the regular cast of characters. Like I said, this might be the biggest and best addition yet.
Are you ready for Fast 8 to hit theaters? Or is this franchise not your favorite? Sound off in the comments below.
