Bumblebee And The Autobots Roll Out In New Transformers: The Last Knight Video
We're still a little early to see the first trailer from Transformers: The Last Knight. However, that doesn't mean there isn't still plenty to see. The Autobots are all on set, and they look amazing. The Transformers aren't just for fans who want to see giant robots beating the hell out of each other. They're also great if you're a gearhead and just love to check out awesome cars. If that's you, check out the clip below.
Here we see three of our sports car based Transformers just showing themselves off. Our favorite yellow Camero, Bumblebee, leads the pack. It looks like he's been upgraded to the newest model, as has been the case previously as well. We get to see two other sports cars one a neon green and the other a dark blue or black, it's a bit hard to tell in the low light. The cars certainly look nice. We know there are many more where these came from. The car porn will extensive when Transformers: The Last Knight hits screens.
However, looking at the video again, we can't help but notice that there's actually a fourth vehicle in this clip. It's not a sports car of any kind, it's not even carrying one, but we have to wonder if it's an Autobot too.
Surely this video was taken on a closed street when filming for Transformers: The Last Knight is currently going on. Even if a random semi truck had to drive by while filming, they would have waited for it to pass while taking shots of their cool sports cars, right? This makes us wonder if the truck hasn't been dropped in intentionally.
We know that one classic character, made famous in the original 1986 animated film, Hot Rod, will be making his debut in Transformers 5. Is there a chance that another character from that era, the Robert Stack-voiced Ultra Magnus, might also be joining the fight?
It's totally a long shot. We get that. But it just seems like an odd decision to drop a random truck in the background. The video only says it's spotlighting Autobots, not specifically sports cars. We're probably crazy. What do you think? Are three four Autobots in this video or only three?
Either way, we can't wait to see more of the "robots in disguise." Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters next summer.
