Why Matt Damon Is Making Fun Of Ben Affleck’s Batman
Superhero movies are a pretty divisive genre. While they consistently rake up tons of money at the box office and (at least for the MCU) positive critical attention, audiences rarely agree on how good the movies are. In particular, the casting and performance of beloved comic book characters is usually picked apart by the fandom. Case in point: Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne. The news of Affleck's involvement in the DCEU was loathed by many, although his actual performance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was widely considered the best part of Zack Snyder's movie. But one naysayer hasn't quit: his old buddy Matt Damon.
Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and New England Patriot Tom Brady have recently teamed up for a charity initiative. Partnering with Omaze, you donate to three distinct charities and in return enter a contest which will allow you to hang out with the trio. During the commercial advertising this contest, Matt Damon took the time to make some jabs at his buddy Ben, and the areas in which he failed as Batman.
If your chin was anything like Tom's, that Batman movie of yours would have made about four billion dollars. 'Cause that's the only part recognizable of you, is that big, ugly chin. Tom is a superhero.
Shots fired. While Ben Affleck's performance as Bruce Wayne might have been successful, it looks like Matt Damon thinks he could have filled out the cape and cowl a bit better. Mostly the cowl, which showed off too much of Ben's apparently ugly chin. Don't you love when friends are supportive of you?
Of course, this is just another case of Matt Damon taking jabs at his buddies. His most common victim is late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who he occasionally kidnaps in order to take control of his show. Plus he and Kimmel's ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman famously recorded "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" in 2008, to which Silverman won an Emmy. But Ben Affleck teamed up with Jimmy and did their own version in response.

Poor Ben Affleck- he's been the butt of too many jokes. Most recently he went viral on the press tour for Batman v Superman, where he was told on film that the movie was getting poor reviews. Someone cut that interview together with "The Sound of Silence" and the internet broke. Just look at this face.
