The Hilarious Way Spider-Man: Homecoming Celebrated Wrapping Production

Spider-Man: Homecoming is officially wrapped! With about 10 months to go before Peter Parker's next first solo outing at the movies is released, all of the footage needed to craft a cinematic blockbuster is in the can. So after a job well done, how does a cast and crew of a big ticket superhero movie celebrate? Well, in the case of the folks involved in Jon Watts' entry into the MCU, they do so with a leisurely nap and a well deserved flight home, as you'll see below.

Leave it to the actor behind the ace photographer himself, Tom Holland, to post this relaxing photo of the Spider-Man: Homecoming folks sleeping off a hell of a shoot. Courtesy of his Instagram feed, Holland shared this rather chilled look at the folks that helped make his second appearance as everyone's favorite neighborhood web-slinger. While there aren't sightings of Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr. or Marisa Tomei to be had in this photo, it's still pretty cool to get a look at the people behind the rather exciting looking scenes that have been forming over the last couple of months.

While we're on the subject of Tom Holland, it must be noted that the guy's got an eye for photography, as well as the fun captions that go with them. Be it his own gymnastic escapades, praising the stunt performers that make him look good, or even just reflecting on the fact that Spider-Man: Homecoming was able to film in New York, Holland's got a snap and a caption for the situation. In fact, it'd be kind of cool if Tom Holland collected a series of his favorite photos from the set in a behind-the-scenes photo book that shows an intimate look at how movie magic was made. Hey, it worked for Jeff Bridges.

While we still don't have a trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming to gawk at just yet, at the very least, the photos from Tom Holland's Instagram feed are enough to tease the film until such a trailer exists. It'd be nice if Sony could use the occasion of re-teaming with fellow Marvel star Chris Pratt on the film Passengers to give the world that first look they've been waiting for, but considering The Dark Tower is probably a bigger priority when it comes to release windows, we won't be surprised if they make us wait a little longer for it.

Spider-Man: Homecoming slings its web into theaters on July 7, 2017.
