New Transformers Set Video Has Cars Flipping On The Streets Of London, Watch It Now
If there's one thing that we can always rely on the Transformers franchise to deliver, it's pure vehicular mayhem. That's what the series has always excelled at, and that's likely what it will continue to deliver until its final installment. With Transformers: The Last Knight, that tradition appears to be out in full force, as Michael Bay and his crew have started speeding, crashing and flipping all sorts of cars through the streets of London. Check out the Facebook video below to see the chaos for yourself:
That clip is one of many awesome behind-the-scenes videos from Transformers: The Last Knight to hit the web in recent days. Showcasing some seriously badass action sequences, the above video takes the action to the streets of London, where the eponymous shape shifting robots seem to have laid waste to the urban landscape of the rain covered city. Taking full advantage of the windy roads, tight corridors and generally problematic driving conditions that plague England's capital, the video shows several insane shots, including one of a car flipping through the air before crashing down onto the pavement. This is a Michael Bay film after all.
The fact that Transformers: The Last Knight will feature plenty of flipping cars shouldn't exactly come as a major shock to anyone who has kept up with the film recently. Michael Bay and the rest of his crew already have this maneuver down to a complete science. Just last week we reported on the special car specifically designed to flip other cars that The Last Knight's crew brought in for the production. As you've probably guessed, the car is known as the Baybuster. Why not? Subtlety is overrated these days anyway.
Although Michael Bay has generally kept a fairly high level of transparency on the set of Transformers: The Last Knight, we still have very little understanding as to how the official plot of the film will ultimately play out. We know for certain that the film will follow Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager in a "man on the run," type of story, and we know that the mythology of the Transformers will tie into both the legend of King Arthur, hence the trip to the United Kingdom, as well as events in World War II. However, beyond that we're pretty much in the dark. We will just have to wait for the film's first official trailer to really figure out the overarching plot of the movie.
As always, Cinema Blend will bring you all of the latest and greatest details related the upcoming release of Transformers: The Last Knight as more information becomes available. The fifth installment in Michael Bay's Transformers franchise will blast its way into theaters next summer on June 23, 2017. Stay tuned for more details!
