A while back, James Gunn made an apt comparison when he said that if The Avengers were the Beatles of the MCU, then his Guardians of the Galaxy were the Rolling Stones. That couldn't be more accurate when you look at the badass coolness emanating off of the teaser poster that Gunn and Marvel just dropped for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Check this out, and starting clearing a space on your bedroom wall:
Because you might not even realize he's there, I'm going to immediately call your attention to the character who, undoubtedly, is going to steal the entire show in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 -- Baby Groot, holding on to Peter Quill's boot.
Look at how small and adorable he is! I can't wait for you guys to actually see him in action. We were treated to some imagery of Baby Groot when we visited the Atlanta set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 earlier this year, but there's still an embargo on anything that we can say. He was also part of the San Diego Comic-Con footage that Marvel brought to the masses in July, and I guarantee that Baby Groot will be part of the trailer that eventually drops, maybe with Doctor Strange.
