New John Wick 2 Clip Shows Keanu Reeves Suiting Up For Battle

Being an assassin is a tough job, but that doesn't mean you have to look bad while doing it. After all, it's like ZZ Top said: every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed killer. I may be misremembering those lyrics. Regardless, when John Wick jumps back into action next month, he'll once again make sure he's taking out his opponents in style. Take a look at the new John Wick: Chapter 2 clip below to see what kind of fancy duds Keanu Reeves will be donning during the sequel.

Much like how the Continental hotel provides a place for assassins and other organized crime figures to stay with the promise that they're on neutral ground, evidently there's also a clothing shop in Rome that also caters to this specific clientele. This new John Wick: Chapter 2 clip, courtesy of Lionsgate Movies, begins with the eponymous protagonist being led into the exclusive area hidden deep within what looks like a normal clothing storage room. The tailor, Angelo, is already acquainted with Mr. Wick and proceeds to gather the important information for the new suit: measurements, what kind of event John Wick will be wearing it at, how many buttons, what kind of style, the trouser length and the lining. Normal stuff, right?

Not quite, because in keeping with the feel of the Continental, there's more to this suit shop than meets the eye. The "tactical" suit, along with being fashionable, also comes with carbide discs, ceramic matrices and body armor sewn between the fabric and lining, to name just a few of its extra features. Even better, Angelo and his staff are also willing to to a rush job for John Wick. Say what you will about people who clothe assassins, at least customer satisfaction is their primary concern. Oh, and this place also has an armory, because why not?

This specialized clothing shop is another cool way that John Wick: Chapter 2 is expanding on the mythology surrounding the world of assassins. Rather than being forced to survive on their own wits and resources, these criminals have places they can go that make their line of work much easier. Well, provided they have the right contacts. At the Continental, it's guaranteed (most of the time) that they won't be targeted or attacked within its walls. At the suit shop in Rome, John and his cohorts can grab attire that will properly protect them and make them look distinguished at the same time. What other cool venue could we see next if John Wick: Chapter 3 is green-lit. A barber shop that sells specialized blades? A gym that has a firing range underneath? There are so many possibilities!

John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters on February 10.
