2017 Summer Movies Release Schedule: All The Upcoming Blockbusters And Indies
Look out pools to swim in and other fun outdoor activities. The movie theaters really, really want to suck in audiences this summer, as you can see with this full list of what is coming. Many of these are big franchise movies, including the likes of flicks from Marvel, DC and established properties like Pirates of the Caribbean. What It's About: A sequel to Prometheus, Alien: Covenant will connect to the 1979 movie and will feature a crew heading to a planet on the far side of the galaxy. What they encounter is not the paradise they hoped to find.
Everything, Everything - Friday, May 19
What It's About: This romantic drama follows a young woman (Amandla Stenberg) who has an autoimmune disease that prevents her from going outside. It doesn't stop her from being wooed by a young man named Olly (Nick Robinson) though.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul - Friday, May 19
What It's About: This Diary of a Wimpy Kid tale is not technically a reboot; however, the cast has totally been overhauled for the latest film. In the latest flick, the family will go on a road trip to their grandmother's 90th birthday.
