Why Chris Hemsworth Was Shaken The First Time He Met Chris Pratt On Set
If you've ever met a big celebrity, there's a good chance you were incredibly nervous and a little bit intimidated. It turns, out, other celebrities feel the same way. In a recent interview Chris Hemsworth, a man who has probably made a lot of people feel nervous, admits that he was a little intimidated the first time he met fellow MCU actor Chris Pratt. Apparently, the natural Pratt charisma just got to Hemsworth. According to the man who plays Thor...
We're all looking forward to Avengers: Infinity War because it will finally bring together two parts of the MCU that have never crossed paths, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Apparently, Chris Hemsworth was just as excited to see that happen, so much so that he tells Elle that he was a bit shaken meeting Chris Pratt for the first time.
While it may be a bit surprising to hear the guy who plays the God of Thunder gets intimidated by other actors, it's quite a compliment to Chris Pratt. Apparently, Chris Hemsworth was just really impressed by Pratt on the set. We've all seen Chris Pratt's charisma on screen, it's one of the reasons he's become an incredibly popular choice as a blockbuster movie leading man over the last few years. However, apparently that isn't simply a performance, but a natural charisma the guy has.
Chris Hemsworth was asked about a man he felt intimidated by after discussing the experience of working with an equally intimidating woman. Hemsworth co-stars with Cate Blanchett in Thor: Ragnarok and it sounds like he tried to impress her on set and play the part of the 'leading man," a facade which Blanchett apparently saw through immediately, and one that she gave him shit for. Apparently, if Chris Pratt had tried to pull that off, it might have worked. It seems to have worked on Hemsworth.
If Chris Pratt really impressed Chris Hemsworth this much on the set of Avengers: Infinity War then we certainly can't wait to see the two of them on screen together. The movie promises to bring together several characters that have previously not teamed up, and unite the primary MCU with the thus far separate Guardians of the Galaxy.
Now we're curious what Chris Pratt's feelings were on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. With the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and others it wouldn't surprise us to discover he felt equally shaken on the set. Since everybody else had already worked with each other a few times, the Guardians cast may have felt like the new kids at school. Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters next May.
