Bad Moms was popular enough that it earned itself a sequel, the upcoming A Bad Moms Christmas, and if you've seen any of the early trailers for the movie, it looks about as raucous as the first flick. One of those over-the-top comedic moments will even include This Is Us' Justin Hartley, who will pop up in the upcoming film as a young man who dresses like Santa, only to strip down to his underoos to win some sort of Santa stripping contest. Hartley recently spoke out about the experience of stripping in front of a bunch of major actresses, noting,
I had to strip for Mila Kunis and Susan Sarandon. When it was time to actually do it I was like, 'What the hell am I thinking?' Those moves are all mine. I worked with this great dancer who taught me a few things and then I botched everything up and made it funny.
If you've seen the trailer for A Bad Moms Christmas, you may already know that the character played by Justin Hartley will meet Kathryn Hahn's Carla at a the wax parlor, where she is charged with "waxing his business." Thus, the Santa stripping ordeal will not be the only time we see Hartley sans most of his clothes in the movie. By the time we get to the stripping scene, he and Carla will reportedly be on a first date, and he'll have to strip in front of a lot of the ladies who appear in the upcoming movie, including the likes of Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell.
Although Justin Hartley didn't do a ton to get into shape for the character, he did tell US Weekly that he avoided eating "twinkies" before he went on camera without a shirt. From what Justin Hartley has said about his upcoming Bad Moms Christmas role, it'll predominantly feature him being played as a character who is known more for his looks than anything else. Intriguingly, it was just that sort of shirtless scene that cause Hartley's This is Us character, Kevin, to quit the sitcom The Manny that made him famous.

Despite having the word Christmas in its title, A Bad Moms Christmas is actually heading to theaters a whole lot sooner. The big sequel is coming out on November 1, which means it's going to try avoiding bigger competition like Thor: Ragnarok, Justice League and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which come out closer to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
