Why Tom Holland Feels He Deserves To See A Marvel Script
A few days ago, Marvel dealt with a bit of an issue when Thor: Ragnarok actor Mark Ruffalo accidentally streamed audio from the premiere of the Taika Waititi movie. Not one to let a big gaffe lie, Spider-Man: Homecoming actor Tom Holland is now out in the world having a bit of fun with Mark Ruffalo's big oops. Tom Holland himself has been known as a bit of a blabbermouth, but now that Mark Ruffalo has made an even bigger mistake, Tom Holland feels he deserves to finally see a Marvel script. Here's what he said:
Marvel is a studio that is chock full of secrets. With a slew of different projects going on and a fandom that is rabid for any sort of news related to upcoming projects, it's easy to see why Marvel attempts to keep a tight lit on its movies, going so far as to give the actors partial scripts instead of whole scripts when big movies like Avengers: Infinity War are being filmed. It's no surprise that Tom Holland is lobbying to get his hands on one of those scripts, either.
About three months ago, Tom Holland openly said that he wasn't allowed to see the Avengers: Infinity War script and sometimes didn't even know who he was sharing scenes with, blatantly noting it was because Marvel told him he was bad at keeping secrets. His exact comment?
Granted, Mark Ruffalo has been known for sharing a little more than he should in relation to Marvel movies. He recently "joked" about an Avengers: Infinity War spoiler and has been known to be more of an open interview than some of the other Marvel actors. Throw in the livestream Thor: Ragnarok Instagram gaffe, and Mark Ruffalo may very well have passed Tom Holland up in terms of revealing Marvel info. That seems to be Holland's theory, at least.
Of course, the good news about the accidental livestream is that it was only audio, and it was shut down fairly quickly before too much info came out. We don't have too much longer to wait before Thor: Ragnarok officially hits theaters, either. The movie is out on November 3. As for Tom Holland, we'll let you know if he ever gets his hands on a Marvel script. For now, you can take a look at what we know about Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War. Thor: Ragnarok tickets are also already available for pre-order.
