Deadpool 2 Trailer: Watch Deadpool Channel Bob Ross Before Revealing New Footage
The last thing we were expecting to see this morning was material from Deadpool 2, and yet, that's exactly what we got, and we got it in the most Deadpool way possible. The clip released starts out as a simple Boss Ross spoof, with your friendly neighborhood Deadpool painting happy little trees. It's entertaining all by itself, but if you stick with it, you get your first look at the new Deadpool movie. Check it out.
We don't see much of actual footage, just a montage of moments, but what we do see looks fantastic. It's got crashes, explosions, guns, things on fire, Deadpool in a coffin for some reason, and Teenage Negasonic Warhead looking even cooler than she did last time. The only thing we don't get a good look at is the debut of Josh Brolin's Cable, though we do get teased, or a shot of Domino. It looks like they'll be holding those trailer reveals back for a bit. Still, fans of the first Deadpool will likely be happy to see that not much has changed for the Merc With A Mouth.
In addition to wading through Deadpool as Bob Ross to get the meat of the teaser, you also want to sit through the credits, because it's there that you get your first look at Cable. It's not much, just a hand surrounded by lots and lots of gun parts, but then again, how else would you expect to be introduced to the character?
If there was a breakout surprise from the first Deadpool, beyond the fact that the movie was just awesome to begin with, it was the character Teenage Negasonic Warhead. She brought an entirely different sort of humor to the proceedings, and when it was time to throw down, she did so with style. We see her as well in the new teaser. She looks a little different, she has more hair this time, something we're sure Deadpool will be pointing out, but beyond that, she hasn't changed too much, we assume Deadpool is who she's looking at with this particular gesture.
We were already excited about Deadpool 2 but now actually seeing it has us totally pumped. The fact that we have to wait until June just became a lot more frustrating than it was yesterday. We can't wait to see more as the release date draws near. Check out everything we know about Deadpool 2 before the movie hits next year.
