Final Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Is Every Marvel Fan's Dream, Watch It
The Infinity War is almost upon us. Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his minions, the Dark Order, are on a quest for those precious Infinity Stones, and a band of Marvel's mightiest heroes -- in teams that stretch from New York City to Wakanda and outer space -- will have to use every possible resource in the MCU to stop the Mad Titan. The final trailer for Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War is upon us. Feast your eyes:
We hardly know where to begin. CinemaBlend went to the set of Avengers: Infinity War back in 2017, and we have been teasing all of the incredible details we have been learning about the involvement of the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), the Guardians of the Galaxy and every star in the Marvel Cinematic galaxy. But even with all of that knowledge, we were not fully prepared for the insanity that has been unleashed in this trailer.
It opens with Gamora speaking about her adopted father, Thanos, who as long as she knew him, has a had a single goal, to wipe out half the universe. Then we see who she's talking too. It's the first public image that we have had of a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy apparently on Earth as Gamora is talking to Tony Stark. We see several interactions between the Guardians and the rest of the Marvel universe, including a hilarious interaction between Stark and Peter Quill that promises to be just one moment in an entire movie of pure entertainment.
We also get what could be very first look at one object we've been waiting for, the Soul Stone. We've long suspected that the final Infinity Stone was in Wakanda, as that would explain why Thanos chooses to attack the nation. We see Black Panther's Shuri looking at something in a holographic image that could be the missing Infinity Stone, though the image is rough and it's not clear what we're looking at.
If it's possible to be even more excited about a movie that we're already excited about, this trailer certainly did it. From the ominous version of the Avengers theme playing at the beginning to the more powerful version at the end, every moment is amazing, though there may be no moment quite as amazing as seeing Captain America try to hold back Thanos with his bare hands.
Avengers: Infinity War will be here in just over a month. Even though the date was moved up a week, it's still not soon enough after seeing that trailer. Be ready to assemble April 27.
Along with the trailer, we have a brand new poster that shows just how massive the Infinity War will be. Click over to check it out.
