One Way Marvel Is Teasing Ant-Man In Avengers: Infinity War

With less than two weeks until Avengers: Infinity War finally debuts in theaters, the marketing for the behemoth Marvel blockbuster has finally reached a fever pitch. Marvel is selling the hell out of this movie now (not that it really has to at this point), and a significant part of that process involves revealing the presence of the big (and small) Marvel heroes who will show up in the film. On that note, it looks like Marvel has finally revealed the inclusion of Paul Rudd's Ant-Man by including his suit in a new poster. Check out the brand-new piece of marketing material, below!

How badass is that picture? We get an awesome assortment of Marvel superhero outfits all neatly lined up with each other, with Scott Lang's red and black Ant-Man suit nestled firmly between Black Panther's vibranium outfit and Black Widow's new combat gear. We do not actually get a look at Paul Rudd in this photo, but the presence of his suit alongside these other outfits seems to suggest a prominent role in the film.

The inclusion of Ant-Man in Avengers: Infinity War's marketing seems particularly interesting when compared to other heroes on the Avengers roster because he's the next Marvel character on deck for a solo movie. Following the release of Avengers: Infinity War later this month, Ant-man and The Wasp will follow later this summer on July 6.

At this point, it's not entirely clear how Avengers: Infinity War will feed into the events of the upcoming Ant-Man sequel, as the recent trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp suggests that it takes place before Infinity War. That said, the presence of Scott Lang in the Infinity War marketing should go a long way towards getting fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe incredibly excited about what's on the horizon for the rest of this year.

Of course, while this tweet seems to finally imply that Ant-Man actually is in the movie, there's another Avenger still waiting to show up in ant of the film's marketing: Hawkeye. Jeremy Renner's eagle-eyed archer has remained notably absent from all of the Avengers: Infinity War marketing material, leading many to wonder where and when he will show up -- as well as what he will look like when he finally does. Now, with Ant-Man revealed in some Infinity War marketing, our wait for Hawkeye has only become even more intense.

Avengers: Infinity War will premiere on the big screen later this month on April 27. If you are on the lookout for more information related to the film, then check out our full Infinity War guide.
