He returned to the Independence Day franchise recently with the massive, however underwhelming, Independence Day: Resurgence. He's also on the verge of reprising his Jurassic Park role in the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which will arrive in theaters next week. Odds are people won't be recognizing Jeff Goldblum for the ID sequel very often, but based on the early buzz, it sounds like Fallen Kingdom could be another big hit for the actor. We'll have to see which films survive the test of time. The fact that he recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Thor: Ragnarok is another way his characters won't soon be forgotten.
