Joe and Anthony Russo are hard at work finishing up Avengers 4, which will not only address the cliffhanger of Avengers: Infinity War but wrap up the entire story of MCU thus far. The movie being as secretive as it is, fans are really hungry to find out just about any detail they can about the film. As such, everything that the Russo Brothers say or post is put under a microscope to find some kind of hidden meaning. Take this recent post on Twitter for example, in which the Russo's tweet an Avengers fan-edit and people thought they were posting the title for Avengers 4.
The Russo Brothers like to keep up with fan-made content and will occasionally re-post cool art or videos. The duo recently shared a YouTube video made by The Garo Studios called "Avengers Sacrifice," which utilizes footage from across the MCU to showcase the theme of sacrifice for various characters. It's a very good video, but the thing that some fans immediately clung to was the title and thought that the Russos were finally sharing the title of Avengers 4.
One Twitter user at first thought that the post was revealing that the fourth Avengers movie would be called Avengers: Sacrifice. That's a pretty understandable thought considering that sacrifice is a major theme of Infinity War. It's also probable that the title would be revealed in some kind video, rather than just a simple social media post. It wasn't a mistake that only one person made as more fans sounded off that they initially thought the post was more than a video.
People are starving for some Avengers 4 details, and while Marvel is waiting to dish them out, fans are growing increasingly exhausted. Some fans tweeted out that they needed emotional support, and the sadness of the video probably didn't help with that too much.
We've got no idea when the title for Avengers 4 will be revealed, but it certainly has a lot of hype to live up to. We'll have to wait and see if the tile lives up to expectations, let along the actual movie!. Avengers 4 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 3, 2019, though, it might be appearing a little bit earlier than that.
