There Was A Brawl In Disneyland, And An Investigation Is Open
Normally a vacation at Disneyland is a magical experience for the entire family. From kids to adults, you can be transported to a world of fun and leave the cares and difficulties of the real world behind for a few days. Unfortunately, for some guests at the park things got a little too real as a fight broke out inside the park and it got quite violent before Disneyland security was able to break it up.
The fight took place this past Saturday but video of the event went viral yesterday. As the clip opens a group of three are exchanging heated words with each other in the Mickey's Toontown section of Disneyland, when a woman spits on a man. It's at that point that limbs begin to flail and two men begin to circle each other and attempt to punch each other.
From the initial group a woman pushes a stroller with two children in it out of the way. It had been at the heart of the initial altercation. and then the children had to witness everything that followed.
Several men and women get involved in the fight and blows look to be exchanged between them all. At a couple of points the fight looks to get broken up by other guests or Disneyland cast members, only for it to start again elsewhere in the land.
Eventually, Disneyland security does become visible and the guests are escorted out of the area and the fight finally ends.
According to L.A.'s Fox 11, the group was removed from the park by Disneyland security and the Anaheim police were called. The police department has stated that an investigation is underway to determine if charges should be filed in the incident.
It's quite likely that this family's Disneyland vacation is over, which is only unfortunate for the kids who clearly had nothing to do with whatever happened here.

Some Disneyland cast members can be seen in the video early on, though clearly they are not trying to get too involved in the fight, that would only likely result in injury. It's a couple of minutes before the first Disneyland security personnel become visible in the video, though it is ultimately other guests who end the fight by pulling a man off a woman whose hair he is pulling.
It's somewhat unfortunate that the fight broke out in Mickey's Toontown. The area is largely designed for the youngest guests, focusing on meet and greet opportunities with the core Disney characters like Mickey, Donald Duck, and Goofy. There were probably a lot more very young children in this area than there would have been if this fight had happened elsewhere in the park.
You can check out the full video below, but be aware it is NSFW and contains violent images and may not be suitable for all audiences.
It's heartbreaking to see something like this happen in a place that really is one of the happiest places on earth. Everybody there is there to have a magical time, and thus you usually find everybody in a good mood. Of course, vacations can also be stressful, things can go wrong, and so emotions can certainly get heated. Luckily, this is a rare occurrence at Disneyland and hopefully everybody else was able to movie on and still have an enjoyable day.
