ReelBlend #92: Our Favorite 1990s Movies And Our Bill Condon Interview
What’s wrong with you people? Why didn’t you go see Doctor Sleep? The sequel to Stephen King’s The Shining did fine at the box office, but it didn’t break the bank. Even though we told you guys how awesome it was! Well, now when you guys hear Gabe’s stories this week about VISITING the set of Doctor Sleep, we assume you are going to run right out and see it. Right?
Give this week’s episode a listen, for that amazing segment. King (and Stanley Kubrick) fans are going to love it.
The Blend Game this week is an all-timer. We have been working our way through the various decades, and we are up to the 1990s. Which, if you tried to play along on social media, is damn near impossible to pick the BEST movie of that decade.
But what about your favorite? Is that easier? What would you choose, and why? Let us know in the comments section below.
As for the rest of the episode, Sean took some time to elaborate on his newfound appreciate for The Snyder Cut, a movement that is trying to get the Director’s Cut of Justice League released in theaters. Then, Kevin and Jake weighed in with their reviews of The Irishman.
We covered This Week in Movies. And as part of that, Jake throws it to his ReelBlend chat with Bill Condon, the director of The Good Liar!
