Shudder’s 61 Days Of Horror Nears Conclusion, Discount Still Available
Shudder always makes a big deal about October because, well, everyone who loves horror movies makes a big deal out of October. October is prime scaring season. The weather is starting to turn a little ominous. It’s getting dark way earlier, and, of course, it all climaxes in Halloween at the end of the month. This year, however, Shudder decided to supersize the celebration and extended it to include September, as well. The entire event was dubbed 61 Days Of Halloween, and it premiered to some fanfare earlier this year. The proceedings are, of course, starting to wind down as we’re reaching the end of October, but thankfully, there’s still time to sign up for a sweet deal.
If you haven’t heard about Shudder’s 61 Days Of Horror discount, here’s a friendly little PSA. The service is offering a 31% discount until Halloween on subscriptions, which offer access to the streaming service that boasts a ton of original features, as well as a bunch of classics like Halloween, cult classics like Maniac Cop and even some beloved horror comedies like Heathers, which is one of my all-time favorite movies. There are also loads of original movies and features that are only available on Shudder. You can check out a list of titles here or you can get access to discount deal here.
Regardless of whether you’re into horror movies or not, now is the season to make the effort. So, even if you aren’t the type of person who needs all the horror content Shudder has to offer, please consider pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and at least taking in a horror movie or two this holiday season. It’s the right time of the year, and there’s perhaps no genre that can make you feel more in the moment and alive than horror.
