Knives Out 2’s Kate Hudson Is Already Posting Set Photos, Including Her Reunion With Kathryn Hahn
Filmmaker Rian Johnson has been on a roll recently, becoming a household name thanks to his work on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and the Oscar nominee whodunnit Knives Out. The latter project is getting a sequel, with the new cast of A-listers assembled to begin filming. This includes Kate Hudson who is posting set photos including her reunion with Kathryn Hahn.
Long before Kathryn Hahn broke the internet as Agatha in WandaVision, she appeared alongside Kate Hudson in the classic 2003 romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Fans were eager to see them back on the screen together in Knives Out’s sequel, and Hudson shared a fun update on the subject via social media. Check it out below.
And just like that, we’ve been transported back to 2003. Andie and Michelle from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days have reunited, and they’re both looking pretty fabulous. Let’s break down what we’re being shown in this glimpse into the Knives Out 2 set.
The delightful image above comes to us from the personal Instagram of Kate Hudson herself. The actress-business owner is pretty active on social media, and she couldn’t help but post a photo featuring Kathryn Hahn to her over 13 million followers. She’s clearly happy to be working with her former co-star again, while also encouraging Hahn to finally get on Insta herself.
In the caption, Kate Hudson explains how working with Kathryn Hahn on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days feels like yesterday. They’re both accompanied by their significant others, and are seemingly enjoying a double date while on location or Knives Out 2. Of course, the real question is how these talents will be utilized in Rian Johnson’s mysterious sequel.
The first Knives Out movie was a massive success, and featured a stellar cast of actors to bring the story together. A sequel was quickly ordered, with Rian Johnson diving back into the writing process with star Daniel Craig as the only returning character. A new murder mystery is about to unfold, with set photos seemingly revealing it’ll be on the sea.
Of course, Kathryn Hahn and Kate Hudson aren’t the only notable names attached to the Knives Out sequel. Rian Johnson assembled a similar star-studded cast to bring his sophomore outing to life, and the film recently began production. Other names include Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Ethan Hawke, Leslie Odom Jr., and Jessica Henwick.
