With so many cinematic universes currently occupying theaters, a number of actors have signature superhero characters to play on the big screen. Brie Larson joined the MCU playing the title character in Captain Marvel, and fans are excited to see Carol Danvers return to the shared universe. Larson is looking superhero strong as she continues preparing to film Nia DaCosta’s sequel The Marvels.
Actors who portray superheroes typically get ripped in order to look powerful on screen, with actors like Hugh Jackman and Chris Hemsworth known for getting absolutely massive. Brie Larson is no exception, and she maintains that being fit allows her to properly transform into the massively powerful Captain Marvel. We can see that continued commitment in the training video below. Check it out.
Talk about badass. It looks like Brie Larson continues to push herself ahead of filming The Marvels, and is going to be especially swole when Captain Marvel flies back onto the big screen. I just feel bad for whatever Marvel baddie she’s going to be battling with.
The above video of Brie Larson comes to us from the Oscar-winning actress’ personal Instagram account. Over the past few months, she’s been very open about how hard she’s been working to stay in superhero shape, investing in a trainer and massive home gym. We’ve previously seen her do crazy things like pull ups wearing chains, so perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised to see Larson pumping iron.

Not much is known about The Marvels, but the cast and crew seem thrilled to be working with Candyman filmmaker Nia DaCosta. While the story is being kept under wraps, fans are eager to see Brie Larson’s signature character teaming up with a pair of other Marvel heroes. This includes WandaVision favorite Monica Rambeau, as well as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, who is first making her debut in a show on Disney+.
