Ever Wondered What Thor Orders At KFC? Now You Don’t Have To, As Chris Hemsworth Surprised Fans At Drive-Thru
Even the God of Thunder surrenders to the comfort of fried chicken, as Chris Hemsworth takes a break between jobs coming from his work on Thor: Love and Thunder and gearing up tp play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic. Yes, Hemsworth was spotted at a KFC in Australia this week, and we have an idea about what his preferences are at the American fast food chain.
Over the weekend, a picture of Chris Hemworth taking a socially distanced selfie with KFC workers surfaced as the actor ordered a 15-piece Original chicken meal, a “Zinger” combo meal and four regular popcorn chicken combo meals. That’s a whole lot of chicken! According to Perth Now, the Thor star spent $73 on the order before posing at the drive-thru window.
Chris Hemsworth recently wrapped Thor: Love and Thunder with director Taika Waititi and its huge cast, including Guardians of the Galaxy members like Chris Pratt and Karen Gillan, Tessa Thompson coming back as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane/The Mighty Thor, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher and Russell Crowe set to play Zeus. Playing a god among his Marvel family must have been a ton of work, and it’s great to see the actor reveling in some fast food.
Since signing on to play the Marvel hero, Chris Hemsworth has been putting a lot of his time into his healthy lifestyle more than ever. The actor even launched an at-home fitness app called Centr, which went viral during quarantine last year. The actor has been packing on even more muscle as of late as he gets ready to play professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. Just look at this workout grind he’s on:
It’s summer right now, which means a lot of people are getting into diets and watching what they eat in hopes of the “summer body.” While I digress that someone like Chris Hemsworth is a tough point of comparison considering a big part of his job requires him to be in shape, and he can afford personal trainers and dietitians to help him get there, even he says yes to a cheat day every once in a while.
Sometimes some greasy fried chicken, warm biscuits and coleslaw is just good for the soul, you know? Anyway, Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as the God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder on May 6, 2022.
The highly-anticipated MCU movie will first be preceded by four movies from the studio, with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hitting theaters first on September 3, Eternals coming on November 5, Spider-Man: No Way Home on December 17 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness coming out on March 25, 2022.
