Movie sets have resumed filming, and DC fans were thrilled to learn that the long-awaited Flash movie was in the midst of production. Plenty of set videos have made their way online over the past month, breaking the internet in the process. The latest of these has me wondering about Ezra Miller’s suit.
Ezra Miller’s solo movie was stuck in development hell for years, as a number of directors signed on and quit the project. But IT director Andy Muschietti is behind the camera, with production finally beginning. DC fans can’t wait to see a new version of The Flash’s superhero suit, but the latest set video leaves us wondering as Miller is seen wearing some motion capture pajamas.
It seems that Ezra Miller might have some much needed comfort when shooting his solo movie as The Flash. In the Facebook video we can see him without the bulk of the suit that we came to know and love in both versions of Justice League. Instead he looks more like co-star Ray Fisher filming as Cyborg.
The latest set video from The Flash shows Ezra Miller shooting a scene as protagonist Barry Allen. But rather than wearing his signature crimson, Miller is instead rocking some mo-cap gear. As such, it looks like his suit is going to be added in via visual effects-- at least for that particular sequence.
DC fans can re-watch Ezra Miller’s time in the DCEU on HBO Max. You can use this link to sign up for the streaming service.
Andy Muschietti has been sharing small tidbits of information from The Flash movie’s set, to the delight of the fandom. That included seeing the chest plate of heroes like Batman and Supergirl. He seemingly teased a new suit for Flash in this way, but we’ll just have to keep waiting to see Ezra Miller in costume.

Anticipation for The Flash movie has been steadily building, especially considering how many heroes Ezra Miller’s title character is expected to interact with throughout the course of its mysterious runtime. That includes two different versions of Batman, as well as the DCEU debut of Supergirl.
As previously mentioned, there have been a number of set videos for The Flash arriving online as of late. Most recently the project made headlines when a crew member collided with the Batcycle. Luckily it seems that no serious injuries occured, so production should presumably resume as planned.
The Flash movie is currently expected to arrive in theaters on November 4th, 2022. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
