The ongoing "feud" between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is always good for a laugh. The two have been repeatedly taking shots at each other on and off for years. It's clear that the two actors really do like each other, it's the reason that the feud us so funny in the first place. However, now Reynolds may have just totally blown up the whole gag now that he's said the quiet part out loud and simply admitted that actually Jackman is just a really great guy.
We tend to always see celebrities acting like good people, it's part of the public image that they need to portray in order to help get people to go see their movies. But there's always a lingering question about what these people are like when nobody is looking. We want our favorite stars to be just as wonderful as they appear to us, and it seems like Hugh Jackman is the real deal. During a recent interview with Extra about the upcoming film Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds joked that Hugh Jackman could "pop" at any moment, but he really is just that nice a guy. In Reynolds words...

Whatever Ryan Reynolds may say when the feud is "on," the truth is clearly that he thinks Hugh Jackman is a pretty great guy. He said as much recently, though in that case he implied that the fact that Jackman is actually really cool is the reason for the feud. Apparently Jackman is so nice it's literally infuriating.
And I think we can assume that if Hugh Jackman is really that nice a guy, then Ryan Reynolds probably is to. I mean, would a nice guy like Jackman hang out with Ryan Reynolds if he was a jerk? After all, Reynolds is Canadian. I think that means he's legally required to be nice at all times.
At this point it seems we're doing more talking about the online feud between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds than the two of them are really doing anything with it. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of it, as it always brings joy when these two clearly nice people pretend to get mean with each other. Although, considering that both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have new movies coming out in August, you'd think this would be the perfect time for the two to give each other a hard time. Maybe after the films are both released they can argue over which did better.
