We're not going to get to say this every week. But the most recent episode of ReelBlend was recorded in Paris, after the hosts had a chance to interview Tom Cruise on the Mission: Impossible Fallout red carpet in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. It was a surreal day, and it made for a very fun episode of our weekly podcast!
Sean O'Connell and Jake Hamilton were without a key member of their ReelBlend family, as Kevin McCarthy was on a cruise -- but not a TOM Cruise -- this week. So our old friend and talented colleague Chris Van Vliet of Deco Drive in Miami filled in on the third chair, and was a fantastic contributor. The guys discussed the casting of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, and the return of Billy Dee Williams to the Star Wars universe.
After that, the hosts reacted to Mission: Impossible Fallout (no spoilers, so feel free to listen), and shared some stories from this Parisian press junket. And they finally were able to dive into Ant-Man and the Wasp, with a spoiler-filled conversation that you KNOW had to dive into that mid-credits scene.
