HeroBlend #37: Visiting The Set Of Captain Marvel
Welcome to HeroBlend #37! The new year has brought us quite a gift, as Eric and Adrienne can now talk all about Eric's visit to the set of Captain Marvel! Plus, we've also got a spoiler-free review of Glass for you this week! First, though, it's been a busy few days, so we're going to fill you in on the biggest bits of superhero news. This will include Aquaman's big news, some (potentially infuriating) background on the Avengers: Endgame title, what Dave Bautista is doing now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is indefinitely on hold, an update on The Batman, and a game changing possible new power for Captain Marvel.
Speaking of Captain Marvel, next we're going to get right into Eric's set visit. And, since many of you have probably never been on a film set before, we're going to start with some basic details about how these work in general. Where do they let you go? What do they allow you to see? Do they drop you into a dark hole? Are you allowed to eat? Is it only bread and water, as though you were being held captive? Then, we'll delve into the details of Eric's visit, who he spoke to, what he saw and what he learned. Also, we'll find out what he noticed on set that he's now even more excited to see on the big screen in the finished product, and much more!
Last, but certainly not least, we need to talk about the first superhero movie of 2019, Glass. Eric got in on an early screening, and will give us a spoiler free review that goes over the best aspects of the Split (and Unbreakable) sequel, and also lets us know where he thinks the movie goes wrong. Now, sit back and relax, folks, because this is one chat you're not going to want to miss. Ready to dive in? Great! Listen for yourself above!
