HeroBlend #42: We Saw 15 Minutes of Shazam!
Welcome to HeroBlend #42! Eric and Adrienne have a big show for you today; we'll answer some listener questions up top, then dive into Avengers: Endgame costume reveals and Eric's thoughts on the Shazam! sneak peek he got to see! First, though, we've got a wealth of superhero news to share. We'll go over what we know about the potential Aquaman spinoff, Harley Quinn's part in The Suicide Squad, Chris Pratt's thoughts on James Gunn's script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, more info on Captain Marvel's possible time travel abilities, a lot of Marvel TV updates and much more!
Next, this week has brought us some intriguing updates with regards to how some of the remaining Avengers will look when we finally see them on screen in Endgame. So, we'll go over the interesting new looks for Black Widow, Hulk and Captain America. Plus, we got a less-than-official look at what Clint Barton might (possibly) wear in his new Ronan persona, so we'll talk about how and why it could be different in the final movie and what we think of the costume in general.
Lastly, Eric got very lucky recently and was able to watch 15 minutes of footage from Shazam! and, surprise, surprise, he can actually tell us all about it! So, he'll let us in on his general thoughts, specifically what he saw, how the performances stack up, the tone of the film that he was able to gather from the brief screening and what we may and may not see of Shazam's classic villain, Black Adam, in the upcoming blockbuster. Now, sit back and relax, folks, because this is one chat you're not going to want to miss. Ready to dive in? Great! Listen for yourself above!
