HeroBlend #43: Netflix Says Bye Bye To Marvel And Eric's Captain Marvel Reaction
Welcome to HeroBlend #43! This week, Eric and Adrienne have lots of Marvel and DC TV updates to give you. We'll talk about some Disney + news, go over what we know about the demise of Marvel shows on Netflix and then have Eric tell us why we should all be keeping up with Gotham on Fox! First, though, Eric got lucky this week and was able to see the full version of Captain Marvel, and he can give us a very brief review of what he saw. Next, we'll get into news, and discuss a wide variety of topics, including Aquaman box office, thoughts on Marvel bringing Blade into the MCU fold, Zack Snyder's emotional farewell to Ben Affleck's Batman, the possibility of us ever seeing another Justice League movie, and much more cool stuff!
Up next, we'll hop into recent developments in Marvel TV. We'll start with word on how the Loki show at Disney + is progressing, and move into Netflix finally doing away with the last of its Marvel dramas, what we can expect to see on (and our hopes for) the last season of Jessica Jones, which is still set to premiere on the streamer later this year. Lastly, Eric has finally caught up on Gotham, which is about halfway through its final season, and he's going to tell us why we should definitely hop back in if we've given up on the young Bruce Wayne / Jim Gordon drama, or get started on it in the first place. Now, sit back and relax, folks, because this is one chat you're not going to want to miss. Ready to dive in? Great! Listen for yourself above!
