Paula Patton And Robin Thicke’s Custody Battle Is Getting Really Messy
Apparently Paula Patton's marriage to Robin Thicke was far from perfect. Though the couple has been divorced for about two years now, they're back in court again to fight over the custody of their son Julian Fuego Thicke after the police were called over an argument at Patton's home a couple weeks back. And, their claws are out. A lengthy new document Patton has submitted alleges Thicke of countless horrible actions during his marriage to her.
Paula Patton was just granted a temporary restraining order against ex-husband Robin Thicke after submitting a 52-page court document detailing Thicke's history of infidelity, drug use, and domestic violence while she was with him, PEOPLE has reported. The document is extensive and explicit in its description of Thicke's discretions. One occasion Patton describes is her son Julian's birthday party in 2013, during which she walked in on Thicke getting intimate with a masseuse. Patton alleges that Thicke reacted violently after that.
Paula Patton goes on to accuse Robin Thick of hitting her again at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, saying he punched her and threw her to the ground during a fight. The document also lists Patton's fears that Thicke has become violent with their six-year-old son Julian, writing that she has witnessed Thicke give Julian spankings that she finds to be too aggressive. She goes on to say that she fears he could become even more violent with Julian after heavy drinking or drug usage.
But the explosive allegations don't stop there. Paula Patton also describes Robin Thicke's history of infidelity while he was married to her, particularly in the years immediately before they separated in 2014. Patton writes that when Thicke returned from a tour in 2013, he informed his wife that he had engaged in unprotected sex with seven other women. Later in that year, Patton writes that she found Thicke in bed with two naked women after the MTV VMAs (that was the year of his famously raunchy "Blurred Lines" performance with Miley Cyrus, by the way).
Though Paula Patton and Robin Thicke have been peaceably co-parenting Julian in the years since their separation and divorce with an agreed-upon joint custody, now Patton is pleading for her ex-husband to have his custody limited. The custody battle was brought to a boil by an event a couple weeks ago, when the police were called to Patton's home. Thicke was there to pick up Julian for the three days a week he gets him, but Patton alleges that Thicke started to act aggressively and Julian cried out that he didn't want to go with Thicke.
After reading all these harsh accusations, one thing is clear: Paula Patton is most definitely over Robin Thicke.
