Wait La La And Carmelo Anthony Aren't Getting Divorced?

The rumor mill has it wrong, according to La La Anthony. In a recent interview, the television personality cleared up stories about her marriage to Carmelo Anthony. Over the last few months, La La Anthony and her New-York-Knicks-basketball-player husband have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. However, when asked if a divorce was on the horizon, La La Anthony tried to put the rumors to rest and said,

This update contradicts previous reports alleging La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony were divorcing because he cheated with a woman who became pregnant as a result of the extramarital affair. Plus, there were rumors the Anthonys had begun hashing out custody details to see who would take Kiyan, their ten-year-old son. However, from the sounds of it, La La Anthony is sticking it out for now. The Power actress revealed additional details in the interview on The Wendy Williams Show interview and said,

La La Anthony also clarified rumors that said she would stay in New York City if Carmelo Anthony decided to break his contract with the Knicks and move to a different team, such as the Boston Celtics. She did not do much to put a cork in the questions about his contract situation. However, La La Anthony did indicate that she sees tons of rumors about it. She said she hopes Carmelo Anthony is happy wherever he ends up, but her primary focus is to remain close to her son.

It is worth noting La La Anthony did not say she and Carmelo Anthony are back together. They are still separated, but they are not getting a divorce at this time. In fact, at one point, Wendy Williams said it looks like Carmelo Anthony wants her back. La La Anthony shrugged, smiled, rolled her eyes, and said,

Indeed! La La Anthony is killing it these days. She has been tearing up the red carpet in jaw-dropping looks like the one she wore to the 2017 Met Gala in May. Furthermore, her acting career is catching fire with roles in new movies, such as the one she recently wrapped alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Anna Paquin.
