Bethenny Frankel Provides Update On Real Housewife Of NY Countess Luann De Lesseps
There are few reality TV personalties quite as long lasting as Bethenny Frankel. The Real Housewife of New York has always been a fan favorite character, and she's been given a series of spinoffs at Bravo. Part of the reason why the businesswoman and TV personality is so captivating is due to her honestly. She's often the voice of reason in RHONY, and is the one to facilitate healthy dialogue with the other ladies. Her cast mate Luann de Lesseps had a public drunken meltdown and subsequent arrest over the holidays, and now Bethenny has given fans a much needed update about The Countess' recovery. Frankel said:
Bethenny Frankel's comments to Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live! is no doubt equal parts surprising and relieving. The Countess' arrest and treatment for substance abuse has been breaking the internet since the incident happened, and Real Housewives fans are eager for any updated about the "Money Can't Buy You Class" singer.
Because Bethenny seems to be one of the housewives with the closest grasp on reality, her encouraging words about Luann de Lesseps' recovery can probably be taken at face value. Frankel is also not one to give Luann a break, and has gone to blows with her co-star many times throughout their long tenure on the air.
During her appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live!, Bethenny Frankel also revealed how seriously Luann de Lesseps is taking her recovery. While she may be known for her heir of class and over the top arguments with the other Housewives, The Countess seems to understand the depth of her current debacle. She's therefore taking steps toward reflecting inward and taking positive steps forward. As Frankel tells it,
Once again, Bethenny Frankel speaks eloquently about Luann de Lesseps' current condition, and how she's recovering from her recent arrest. De Lesseps is potentially facing years in prison, after she resisted arrest and assaulted an officer in December. She's since checked herself into treatment for substance abuse, and has plead not guilty to the charges.
Fingers crossed that Countess Luann de Lesseps can move forward with positivity, and continue entertaining us on The Real Housewives of New York. At least she has the support of people like Bethenny Frankel.
