Chrissy Teigen, Kim Kardashian And More Look Like They Had a Blast at Ellen DeGeneres' Birthday Party
Ellen DeGeneres has no shortage of celebrity friends in the business. Her happy demeanor, bright smile, open-hearted personality, and fun-loving attitude make any special time and occasion to party alongside the dance-friendly talk show host the right place to be in Hollywood. And that's why Ellen's latest birthday bash brought out more than a fair share of familiar faces, including power couples Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West and Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, to name a few. Check out Teigen's special birthday message below.
In celebration of DeGeneres's special 60th birthday, the Ellen host was also joined by a wide variety of stars, including Olivia Munn, Jennifer Aniston, Nia Vardalos, Amy Schumer, Meghan Trainor, Kimberly Paisley, Tig Notaro and more during her big bash, according to US Magazine. The event, which took place on Sunday evening, featured a special photo booth, hence why we have so many stylish black-and-white shots of the A-Listers in attendance.
It was also during this hot party that Schumer made her ongoing relationship with chef Chris Fischer public knowledge. She confirmed their coupling on social media by presenting a photo of them smooching in the photo booth during the festivities. Theirs wasn't the only fun photo, however, as Ellen and Meghan Trainor also took a fun photo.
In addition to the party itself, the queen of daytime TV also hosted a very special episode of Ellen on her birthday, January 26th. In that two-hour installment, DeGeneres garnered guest appearances from Sofia Vergara, Jimmy Kimmel, Jamie Foxx and Chance the Rapper, who all gave the birthday girl an assorted array of comedic gifts. But it was the one she received from her wife, Portia De Rossi, that meant the most, leaving the cheery daytime host in tears. De Rossi gave to her partner the news that she is building the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, which will be located next to the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Fossey is a late gorilla scientist long admired by DeGeneres, and this new center strives to be a place of education, tourism, and further scientific research. DeGeneres also recently had the honor of hosting Michelle Obama's first interview since leaving the White House last year. So yeah, things are looking up for Ellen.
And with that, both the party and Ellen's big B-day were most certainly smashing successes. Some people might be daunted about hitting their sixties, but the Finding Dory star appears to be taking it all in with absolute stride. It was during the night that DeGeneres tweeted that she was "having the best birthday" with her friends. Based on everything presented here, it's hard to argue otherwise. It certainly looks like a fun night to remember. Happy Birthday, Ellen! Here's to many more birthdays to come. And here's hoping nobody is nursing any particularly bad hangovers today.
