Another day, another new hairstyle for Kim Kardashian West. This time, the reality TV star has decided to go with pink. As it was revealed on Instagram, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star went with a bold hair choice for 2018, with the celebrity providing yet another signature look for the new year.
As the Instagram post notes, this is not a wig; this is the real deal for Kim Kardashian West. She really dyed it pink. Kim Kardashian West no stranger to changing up her hair stylings when the time seems fit. The reality TV star is known for spicing things up and going with different colors. Most recently, the brunette media superstar went back to being a blonde a few months ago, and she claimed she did it out of love for her husband, Kanye West.
Dying it pink is certainly different for the media star, but we're not going to question Kim K's decision. After all, if anyone could make it look fabulous, it's certainly her. And we're digging it. It's pretty punk rock, truth be told. And we're all about the Lady Bird look at CinemaBlend.
In a recent post on her own official site, Kim Kardashian West explained what inspired her to go with pink hair this time around.
Ever since I did the CR Fashion Book shoot and wore a pink wig, I thought it would be fun to dye my hair pink. [My hairstylist] Chris Appleton and I thought about it for a month and then decided to just go for it! Since my hair is blonde right now, it was easy to put the pink color over it. I figured now was the perfect timing! ... North absolutely loves it! She was so excited when she woke up to see I had pink hair. Kanye loves it, too. He thinks it's fun to mix things up.
All things considered, it's pretty remarkable that Kim Kardashian West found the time to go with such a stark new hair choice. After all, it was only recently that she became a mother of three. Her third child, Chicago West, was born back in January via surrogate, a process that has been explored thoroughly on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and elsewhere. It was only yesterday that she shared the very first photo of the baby on her Instagram. Her new pink hair wasn't featured prominently in that snapshot. Kardashian is also the mother of four-year-old North West and two-year-old Saint West.
Following up with the rest of the Kardashian and Jenner clan, Kylie Jenner recently gave birth to her first daughter, Stormi, on February 1st. Additionally, Khloe Kardashian is currently pregnant with her first child, a boy, with her NBA boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Speaking of bold choices, Kendall Jenner decided to get stark naked on Instagram yesterday, in a new series of artfully photographed pictures. No matter what, the Jenner/Kardashian crew know how to get people's attention-- you gotta give them that. And Kim's newest pink look is one that we can get behind.
